Kiasmos - Perfect modern ambient music for work

The last three days my Spotify app has been occupied with playing the new album from the Icelandic duo Kiasmos (Janus Rassmussen and Ólafur Arnalds)

The music is relaxing and ambient and I could probably do my Yoga to it. It has a modern and minimalistic expression that fits great in my busy life. It gives room for a string of thoughts, which is more then I can say for other electronica tunes out there. The whole album "Kiasmos" is a real special treat!

Great soundtracks - Chef

Almost never I find a movie that has the perfect soundtrack. This time I was really impressed! The movie Chef has it all! I almost had to stand dancing while watching this movie.
Loads of festive Latino tunes of the proper kind.

The music has flavors from Cuba to New Orleans, with jazz, brazz and latin vibes!
The movie it self is lovely and will suit foodies, road-movie-lovers and families. No sex, no shooting, just loads of food, friends and fabulous music (and Scarlet Johansen). Yes and dont watch this on an empty stomach!

I saw this a week ago and the soundtrack has joined me at work and at the gym. Love it!

George Ezra on Voyage

George Ezra was picked as one to watch in the BBC Sound of 2014 listings. I follow that list every year as it always gives me loads of new acts to follow!

Just a few weeks after this list was final, George Ezra actually came to my city playing at a new small venue with extremely good sound.
It was amazing, and I must say that it is the best live performance I have ever seen. His voice is magnificent and even though this young man was alone on the stage, it felt like he filled the room perfectly! His genre is mixed, just enough to keep the playlist interesting, and his voice is a bit bluesy.

He seemed to me like an introvert performer this one, with his eyes closed most of the songs... and then he opens them, he finds yours and it all gets very intimate.

He just gave out his first album this summer and if you haven't heard it, run and do it straight away!

Running like fire

I found this tune a few years ago on youtube.
I have been waiting for it to show at Spotify and now its there.
Lloyd Yates with Runs like fire. I love his voice and the calm yet positive upbeat music.

About it

Hi there!

Everyday I sit in front of a computer in a room full of people.
Nice people!
To concentrate I listen to music.
All day!
I love music, and especially finding new music.
Not picky about the genre, eat most music.
I let it change my mood.
A mood for running, for concentrating, for drawing, for walking, for driving, for singing, for falling a sleep and for waking up! There is music for all moods!

In this blog I will share music that I find. Most new and some old.
I would love it if you would suggest music for me.
I go to festivals and live gigs, and will share!

I use Spotify, Soundcloud and Youtube for my music hunting!

Hope you love it too!
